WHY SUCCESS MATTERS

Often times we are obsessed with the need to be successful, to earn more money and generally have the ability to invest out time in our interests and passion.
The road map to success is however, filled with less clarity and often times there are quite a few bumps on the way.
It is pertinent though that we maintain focus on our goals because it is only in doing this that we are sure to have the zeal and gusto to carry on even in the most trying times.
HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN FOCUS
I posed a simple question to myself; why is being successful so important to you?
After going through the usual response of having a better quality of life, being able to invest my time in my interests and giving my kids the best childhood possible.
The thing that stood out for me though which has become the back bone of my resolve to excel in life is this; there are people whose success story will never be told if I fail to make a success of my own life.
It is up on this realisation that I have gained a renewed commitment, a well from which I often draw the strength to carry on.
I now ask you same question. 
WHY IS BEING SUCCESSFUL SO IMPORANT TO YOU?
It is important that you write this down and reflect on it whenever you lack the will to carry on.

Did someone change the dictionary and not bother to tell me? Methinks so, because “success” seems to have become a four-letter word overnight.
