LET YOUR FEAR BE YOUR FUEL

FEAR has been defined by some as False Evidence Appearing Real. The words that stand out are FALSE and APPEARANCE. Fear is a notion of what could happen. This could be based on past experiences or on lack of a proper analysis of a situation or general lack of information. Whatever the presumptions that underlie fear, it still is not REAL.

It is only an appearance, a seemliness of what could occur.

To begin Mastering  our fear we must define the outcome that we are willing to prevent. For instance the fear associated with an Exam is failing it. The fear associated with a new relationship is that it won't work out. The fear associated with a job interview is that we don't get the job.

When we define these underlying issues then we can take steps by using that fear as an information that we can convert into actionable steps.

The fear of failing the exam means we study very hard to ensure we are well prepared for it. Seeking clarity in subjects we don't understand from our tutors or course mates. The fear of a new relationship means we are careful in getting into one by chosing carefully and not just getting into one for the sake of it and doing everything we can to build the relationship setting aside our past experiences and not projecting it into the current relationship. When going for an interview we prepare for it, dress appropriately and ensure we are punctual and just give it our best.

There are no absolutes in life but letting our fear paralyse us is a quick fire way of missing out on all the beauty life has to give. In each fear we overcome lies an opportunity which would never be unwrapped if we refuse to act.

Let your fear inform you of the dangers ahead then you can prepare yourself to combat these dangers and achieve a most rewarding life.

Get up, address your fear and go to work!!!
